Peace, Love, IOWA!

I had to quickly post some footage from today where the Jman is sporting his very cool 'Peace, Love, Iowa' onesie from the one and only, AOK.  In addition to looking quite adorable and supporting his roots, Jakson is also saying 'HI' in this video.  I told you he could do it...at only 9 weeks!!  So advanced!!

We also had some exciting visitors over the past week, first our friend Elisabeth came over from New York to meet the wee man:

The Big Boy Bath

Our wee bah is growing so quick!  We used the sink for as long as we could but there is no denying he is now too big for that.  So tonight we made the move to the 'big boy bath' - and i think Jakson enjoyed it! 

The Cheek Bounce

It seems lately we are all about getting Jakson's adventures on video.  This weekend was no different.  The weather in London was lovely on Saturday so we ventured out for a long walk, lunch and a bit of shopping.  Jakson was an angel the entire time...that is until we arrived home and tried to put him down to bed.  Let's just say he wasn't having it.  So it was a long night...but i suppose we should expect those every now and again, eh?

Today we had a reunion with our NCT class and got to meet all the babies and catch-up with our parent friends.  It was so amusing to listen to the stories and hear how it wasn't just us who had a bit of a disappointing birth experience.  But it seems everyone is doing well and I'm hoping we will continue to meet up now that our babies are here. 

One of the more amusing things we've got on video lately (and notice every time we take the J man for a walk) is that Jakson has some chubby cheeks!  They literally vibrate and jiggle when you go over even the slightest bump in the road.  This video shows it a bit but honestly doesn't do justice to just how cute it is to watch his cheeks bounce!!
